Join Us for the First Ever Oakland Style Week

Visit Oakland is planning the first ever Oakland Style Week, an annual five-day series of events that takes place Wednesday, October 18, 2023, and runs through Sunday, October 22, 2023. And we can't wait to be a part of it!

Oakland Style will feature culinary experiences, cultural conversations, art walks, fashion shows, musical performances, vintage shopping, panel discussions and so much more. Devan is most excited to join the A Taste of Style dining experience and Bespoke Cocktails and Stylish Conversations evenings as well as the photography exhibit unveiling 100 Faces of Oakland.

Since it's inception, Devan has been helping the Visit Oakland organization plan this event series as an advisory board member. “Oakland style is bold, confident, and unapologetic...enriched by a history of constantly questioning the status quo and advocating for what we believe in,” she said in an interview with the online publication 7x7 Bay Area. This week is an opportunity for us all to show the country and the world what style means to us here in Oakland.
